National Housing Union Steering Group and Taskforce – Join Form
SHAC is working with campaign partners and activists to establish a national union run by and for tenants and residents. If you are interested in getting involved and would be able to give some time to the project there are two groups you can join:
- The Steering Group assists with strategic planning and meets once per quarter for around 90 minutes.
- The taskforce requires approximately one hour per week to help with research and engagement with other groups.
If you would like to join both or either, please use the form below. Please note, the Housing Union is not in existence yet, so this form is not an application to join the Union.
I’d be happy to approach some unions to see if they would like to support us financially. Could you give me a few names and coordinates, and a couple of talking points that I could use?
