  1. SHAC must be making an impact! The facade put out by the HAs cannot cope with the evidence of inefficiency, ineffectiveness, appalling service charge errors, failures with repairs that SHAC and other tenant / resident groups have detailed. We must redouble our efforts to make these charlatans accept their responsibility and to do the jobs they are overpaid to do.

    1. Yes we/SHAC are rattling their cages! I am so proud to be part of an effective and brave housing activist campaigning group. They are trying to censor us because they know they are guilty!

  2. I’ve been harrased, lied to and bullied by my HA for 3 years. I put my own security system in because my pleas for help were continually ignored, they have threatened me with court and accused me of all sorts since and I’ve forgotten how many dates they have given me to remove my security. The ombudsman and MP have tried to help me yet the HA and staff continue the most bias disgusting behavior aimed at me to this day! Southern Housing are nothing but corrupt, insensitive, inhuman monsters.

  3. Southern Housing are abusing my human rights to protect myself from harm. I put my own security system in and Southern have done nothing but harrass me in getting it taken down. The housing officers concerned are inhuman and disgusting not to mention the head of region. They know why I put it in but won’t let me keep it. I’m so stressed and fed up with the bullying tactics they use.

  4. Southern are really bad – too large, too remote, too unaccountable. We need public housing under public control, not managed by these private organisations, which is what housing associations are.

  5. The antisocial sociopath housing provider employees probably don’t have the skills or experience to do a good job, assuming they have the aptitude and they probably don’t.

Critically they go home. It’s just a job. They don’t have to live with the hell of poor service, poorly maintained property, poor quality repairs, or ASB.

Sadly, even if they’re empathetic about the issues, they lack compassion and as we know, actions speak louder than words.

They only act to silence their customers. They’re laughing at their customers, regulators, and housing ombudsman.
